Verizon

Verizon deployed the CENTREfuge product in order to upgrade overall data quality and to consolidate reporting numerous and geographically dispersed data sources. Performance Management Components including report/query and real-time dashboards were designed and deployed as well as HR components such as payroll were configured and implemented as an integrated part of the over-all system.

A unique aspect of this deployment was the need to capture and retain critical data used for billing customers. If lost or corrupted, countless dollars would be lost. Newmetrics integrated Critical Data Storage units that spool critical data locally – then distribute and process it to centralized servers. Now, critical data is captured and maintained in a rolling 90 day cycle – more than enough time to recover from even the most extreme of disaster scenarios.

First Data Corporation

First Data is the world leader in electronic commerce and payment services. Newmetrics deployed a data consolidation project to pull together key metrics and distribute them based upon “roles” within the organization. A combination of real-time dashboards and integrated reporting are the underpinnings to their management processes.

Augmenting this process are system alarms that “trigger” based upon exceeding or falling below key performance indices. These alarms can be in the form visual or audible alerts that signal supervisors to take corrective action – or as reports that are automatically generated to facilitate post-mortem evaluation.

Nortel Networks

CENTREfuge is utilized by Nortel Networks for their customers who require a data integrity system and enhanced reporting on their class 5 queue management systems. CENTREfuge provides X.25 connectors and protocol adaptation to allow aggregation of multiple switches into a unified reporting sub-system. Information is presented via real-time a combination of digital dashboards and automated reporting.

PRTC

PRTC provides local and long distance telephone services within Puerto Rico. As a service provider, they were faced with numerous challenges in moving from manual processes to a fully automated performance management capability without impacting critical operations. By implementing digital dashboards, managers are now able to monitor and analyze key metrics related to their customer contact activities – including speed of answer, occupancy, and overall resource utilization. Additionally, the CENTREfuge data quality assurance platform served as an enabler for other sub-systems such as work force management and executive level reporting which previously did not have adequate data integrity to be relied upon.
